Newline Interactive Displays in the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha

The University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) is a public institution of higher education. It has campuses in Albacete, Cuenca, Ciudad Real and Toledo and associated centres in Talavera de la Reina and Almadén.

Its origins date back to 1982, but it was not until three years later that it began its first academic year in 1985. It currently has 30,000 students and 2,300 teachers, and offers more than 50 different undergraduate degrees and more than 100 postgraduate degrees.

CHALLENGE

The global pandemic of COVID-19 requires action by educational institutions to continue the routine of teaching. For this reason, the University of Castilla-La Macha was looking to install interactive screens in classrooms and administrative meeting rooms to enable quality videoconferencing.

THE SOLUTION

The University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) has installed several units of the Newline RS+ 75-inch series, both in the classrooms and in the halls.

Available in 3 sizes: 65″, 75″ and 86″ to easily adapt to any space, the RS+ model stands out for its image quality, design and resistance. It also has the possibility of customising the user interface.

BENEFITS

  • It reduces the capacity of the classes. Allows classes to continue even if there are new lockdowns.
  • Improves dynamics on site thanks to the possibility of incorporating educational applications for use on the displays.
