The Consell de Govern de Islas Baleares has allocated part of the allocation for the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to the digital modernization of public and non-university study centers in the Balearic Community.
More than one million euros will be distributed in primary education institutions, middle and high schools, which will receive monitors and interactive projectors with which to underpin the process of teaching and learning of students.
Specifically, the interactive screens acquired from Newline Interactive belong to the RS Series. Among the advantages offered by these devices is the possibility of converting educational spaces into more dynamic and efficient places of collaboration between students and teachers.
- The Operational Programme of the ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) has provided non-university public educational centres in Islas Baleares with aid for the digitisation of 386 of their classrooms.
- These schools used different traditional educational tools such as blackboards, projectors, etc. The Balearic government, in order to modernise Islands’ education system and give its pupils an advanced and innovative education, decided to incorporate interactive screens in its classrooms.
- Around 386 classrooms in these schools in Islas Baleares have incorporated screens from Newline’s 86″ RS Series. This solution has not only helped the schools to modernise, but has also made the collaboration between teachers and students more effective and dynamic than it had been until then.
- Newline has been awarded for the second consecutive year the contract for the acquisition of interactive screens by non-university public schools in Islas Baleares, which thus have within their reach the tools necessary to achieve greater performance in class.
