Product Security Centre

Welcome to the Newline Product Security Centre. This page provides key information about the security of our products and explains Newline’s commitment to delivering a safe, reliable and trusted user experience.

  1. Product Security Standards

At Newline, we follow internationally recognised security standards throughout the entire product lifecycle. From the initial design and development stages through to manufacturing, we carefully assess each phase to support compliance with applicable global security requirements and certifications.

We recommend checking your product regularly and carrying out any cleaning, maintenance and software updates in accordance with the instructions provided in the relevant user guide.

At Newline, protecting our users and ensuring a secure product experience are key priorities. If you identify a potential vulnerability or security-related issue while using any of our products, we encourage you to notify us as soon as possible. Your report will help us investigate the matter and continually improve the security of our products.

2. Reporting Process

  • Describe the issue: Provide a clear and detailed explanation of the suspected vulnerability or security issue. Please include the affected Newline product and model, as well as the circumstances in which the issue occurred.
  • Gather supporting evidence: Whenever possible, include the steps required to reproduce the issue, its potential scope and impact, and any relevant screenshots, system logs or other supporting information.
  • Submit your report: Please use the form below for your report.

Before you submit

  • Complete the form specifically designed for this purpose, which you can find by scrolling down this page.
  • Make sure you fill in all mandatory fields.
  • Provide enough technical detail for our team to reproduce and assess the issue.
  • Do not include unnecessary personal data, passwords, access credentials or customer content.

Remember that providing as much information as possible about the issue will help us resolve it more efficiently.

3. What happens next

Once we receive a report concerning a potential security vulnerability or issue, our Product Security team will acknowledge receipt, assess the report, request further information where necessary, coordinate remediation with the relevant teams and communicate appropriate updates. The process is as you can see below:

  • Initial Assessment: Our security specialists perform an initial review to evaluate the validity, potential impact and severity of the reported issue.
  • Detailed Investigation: If the report is considered valid, we conduct a comprehensive investigation to determine its underlying cause, affected products and potential scope.
  • Remediation Development: Based on our findings, Newline’s engineering team prepares the most appropriate corrective action. This may include a software update, firmware update, security patch or other mitigation measure.
  • Testing and Validation: Before releasing any corrective action, we carry out thorough testing to verify that the proposed solution effectively addresses the vulnerability without introducing additional issues.
  • Deployment and Communication: Once the corrective action has been validated, it is released through the appropriate channels. Where applicable, affected users will be informed and provided with relevant details and instructions.

4. Our Response Commitment

Newline aims to provide an initial response within 72 hours of receiving a security vulnerability report. We appreciate your cooperation and contribution to strengthening the security of Newline products.

We aim to keep the reporter appropriately informed throughout the review and remediation process. When relevant, we will communicate significant developments and, following resolution, provide the necessary information to the parties concerned.

Security is a shared responsibility. By reporting potential vulnerabilities or security concerns, you help us improve our products and protect the wider community of Newline users.

5. Contacting us

If, in addition to using the vulnerability reporting form, you would like to contact us directly, you can email our dedicated team. They are available to assist you and will respond as soon as possible.
