Delaviuda Confectionery Group is a family-owned, 100% Spanish capital corporation. It is a leader in the Spanish nougat, marzipan and other sweet product sectors, and commercializes with Delaviuda and El Almendro brands.

Challenge

The company was looking for a multi-functional device that would make the daily work among employees of Delaviuda Confectionery Group easier. They wanted a solution that would allow them to give more engaging presentations and make video conferences simpler and more effective. Delaviuda Confectionery Group knew they needed a solution that would make the most out of their teamwork and active collaboration among people at the company, in a dynamic and intuitive way.

Solution

Delaviuda Confectionery Group found the X9 interactive display from Newline TRUTOUCH X Series to be the perfect solution: a touchscreen that gathers all the necessary features to carry out essential tasks within the company. This device, with two built-in cameras and a microphone array with noise reduction and echo cancellation, allows everyone to hold meetings and video conferences in an efficient and intuitive way. Additionally, the X9 has a built-in computer (OPS) running on Windows,  which lets employees use the familiar Windows system and install their favorite software.

Results

Delaviuda installed Newline X9 displays in the main room of its offices both in Madrid and Sonseca (Toledo). The interface and management of the screens was very intuitive from the start and the employees only needed a quick introduction to start using them. The users within the company are very satisfied, not only because of the ease of use, but also because this new device fosters productive meetings and video conferences, taking better advantage of time and minimizing the risks and costs of traveling to attend to meetings out of the office. Additionally, it offers a modern image to clients and partners who visit the offices.
