Formed in July 1966, Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs is the Indonesian government ministry in charge of planning, coordinating and synchronizing policies in the fields of economics.
Challenge
During the pandemic where social distancing is mandatory, a TV screen with UC equipment was no longer enough for the remote meeting requirements of Mr Airlangga Hartarto, the Minister of Ministry of Economic Affairs.
The Ministry of Economic Affairs is, therefore, looking for a solution to upgrade the Minister’s dedicated meeting rooms with video conferencing, whiteboarding, screen sharing and file sharing. They would like to set up the solution system with the less integration or training required.
Solution
Newline X6, the all-in-one unified collaboration solution, was presented to the IT Department of the Minister of Ministry of Economic Affairs. During the pandemic when face-to-face meetings are not feasible, Newline X6 delivers to the Ministers and VIPs a superior video conferencing experience with other government officials in different cities. The Ministers can use the built-in whiteboard during meeting discussions, and with one click, it takes them to their familiar Windows system for other Windows applications, discussion using Excel, ppt, and PDF files. Moreover, the Ministers could easily use the X6 to conduct video conferencing calls without having to bring their laptops with them. Its intuitive interface also minimizes the training requests to the IT Admin Manager.
