Allen, TX (April 28, 2021) – Newline Interactive has introduced a new touch screen coating that has proven to be effective against the most common germs, including E.coli and Staphylococcus, adding safeguards to classroom and office technology to mitigate the spread of diseases.
Touch technology has become a staple in everyday life, the office, and the classroom. That also means increased exposure to and the spread of unwanted germs and bacteria. With a keen focus on customer’s needs, Newline has introduced a new product feature to assist in the fight against everyday threats.
As the first in the industry to use organic and inorganic compounds to eliminate germs collected on touch surfaces, Newline continues to push the envelope in safe product development and innovation. Active elements include silver, copper, and titanium ions and a proprietary formula of organic compounds. The use of both organic and inorganic compounds ensures high levels of efficacy in the antimicrobial-infused glass. Embedded into the touch screen along with the anti-glare coating, the compounds are activated by light. This includes room lights, sunlight, the screen’s LED, IR, and any other light-producing object in the display’s vicinity. Essentially, activation is achievable in almost every working environment.
